Choosing a Breeder

Surfing the web for a Labradoodle Puppy

It seems easy enough to start looking for that sweet, beautiful Labradoodle puppy to add to the family. Of course, you want to make sure that they come from a good breeder and have had the best start on life possible. In the world of search engines, the assortment of breeders is immense. Taking the first step to finding your perfect puppy can be overwhelming. There are three basic things to look for when spending all your spare time on line, searching the Labradoodle puppy world.

1st-The breeder should only breed Labradoodles. Meaning, Labradoodles, Australian Labradoodles or a combination of the two. This indicates that they are interested in this breed and are concentrating on them only. They have a love for Labradoodles and will do the best they can to breed the best.

2nd-The number one issue for any ethical breeder is the health of their dogs. The breeder will post their breeding dogs and their health clearances and/or explain the health testing that all of their dogs receive before being bred.

3rd-Do they breed the size Labradoodle you are looking for and do you like the look of the dogs and their offspring? Labradoodles can vary in size from 14 to 25 inches at shoulder and weigh 15-65 pounds. It will not matter if the breeder is wonderful if you do not want the size dogs they are breeding or you simply do not like the look of their dogs. If you like what you see, then the breeder is a candidate for further investigation.
